Site Requirements

The IMPACT Web site is both valid HTML 4.01 Transitional and CSS Level 2.

Recommended Web Browsers
The IMPACT site employs CSS Level 2.1 & HTML 4.01 Transitional as well as XML 1.0. It is recommended that the site be viewed in Internet Explorer version 5.5+ or in Netscape/Mozilla versions 6+/1.2+. The IMPACT Web site will function correctly in older browsers such as Netscape version 4.0+ and Internet Explorer 4.0+, but to take full adavantage of the features here it is recommended that you update your brwoser. You can check your version by choosing "Help", and then the "About" option.

Special Note to America Online Users
You are not required to use the AOL browser. You can use an external Web browser when using AOL.

Recommended Web Browser Plug-ins and Third-party Software
Many files on the IMPACT Web site are in Adobe Acrobat PDF format, which requires the Adobe Acrobat Reader plug-in. If you do not have this plug-in, you can download Adobe Acrobat from the Adobe Web site.

The IMPACT Web site also contains audio and video files that require the RealPlayer plug-in, which can be downloaded from www.real.com.

You can check your browser's plug-in files by choosing "Help", and then the "About Plug-ins" option.

Javascript
You should have Javascript enabled when using the IMPACT Web site. By default most browsers have Javascript enabled. Javascript is not mandatory. The IMPACT site may be used to its fullest without Javascript. Javascript is only used to enhance your experience.

Cookie Files
The IMPACT Web site may employ Cookie Technology to provide certain features, such as customized delivery of information. This will allow users to move more quickly through our Web site. Cookies are small text files that Web sites use to recognize repeat users. In general, cookies work by assigning a unique number to the user that is not used outside of the Web site that assigned the number.

Cookie technology does not enable access to a user's system, nor does it pose a threat to a user's files. Cookies on the IMPACT site are designed to expire once you close your browser.
